The DPW Rose Challenge (again)...again

It's always interesting to see different artists' versions of the same image, so I took another run at the rose challenge, this time using the photo provided. My first thought was that this would be a perfect subject for watercolor, so I stretched paper and got out all the paint. Then I remembered that I hate doing watercolor. A few other distractions also delayed the process. I'm a little chaotic this week.
