Not many wildflowers to be found in the dry, dry foothills right now. This poor scraggly poppy was growing in our yard. As always, the DPW challenge is a the perfect motivator: a suggestion I can follow (or not) which provides focus, but, unlike most illustrations, total control of the choice and direction.
