Absolutely Ribbiting

8 in. x 8 in. w/c on paper mounted to board - SOLD

I did this as an example for a proposed class, thinking to show a variety of techniques in different areas of a single piece. The idea seemed relatively simple, and I would provide the drawing. But now that I've finished, I'm  wondering if it's too complex for beginning students. Although I have used watercolor realistically for illustration, it is not my primary medium, so I have idea how to use or teach a looser, more impressionistic style.
