When a set-up is appealing, I imagine anyone could turn it into a nice painting and can’t wait to start. Of course, making more mundane subjects interesting is the bigger challenge. But sometimes the path of least resistance works just fine.

 The vintage glass pitcher from the  Cancer Society thrift shop was this week’s steal--at least I like to think so.
