Sunflowers again

This was a workshop project, done from a photo taken in flat light. The idea was to design the shapes and capture the colors and three basic values.

    I really like how this came out. It is so honest and direct. Also it have a very calming feel. I like the way yyou designed the shapes.

    Thanks, Frank. In between the lay-in and finish, I did benefit from studying yours, though I was unable to incorporate as much of your input as I had hoped. Seeing, understanding, absorbing and, finally, consciously applying knowledge in painting is such a slow process.
