There comes a point when you just have to be done. As noted before, this is too big to scan and looks radically different in every lighting situation--so I may never get an accurate shot. I think this one finally is close, though.

It's a little softer than the oak tree. Unfortunately my goal was a lot softer--though at this reduced size it looks tighter than it is. My other goal was to quickly finish something big enough to fill a wall in my room at the Placer Air Pollution Control District during next week's Auburn Art Walk. So yay, at least have accomplished that.
